We are excited to announce that we now offer delicious local Artisan beef from Sweetwood Cattle Company, located right here in Steamboat Springs!

Situated just 5 miles north of town along the Elk River, Sweetwood Cattle Company is a family-owned and operated ranch, featuring all-natural Angus beef with no antibiotics, artificial ingredients or added hormones. The ranch is Verified Green by the USDA, only the second in the country to achieve this designation.

We encourage you to take a look at the variety of slow-aged, hand-cut selections now available via our Online Store, and hope you will enjoy the taste of “Beef from the “Boat” as much as we do.

Greetings from The Grocery Company of Steamboat!

Another exciting ski season is on the horizon, and they’re saying it’s going to dump on our mountains this year! The ski area will open on Wednesday, November 24, undoubtedly with lots of hootin’ and hollerin’. There’s plenty of fun upcoming over the holidays, with the not-to-be-missed Winter Carnival in early February, and lots of special events throughout the season.
